½ cup Semolina
2 cups Flour
1 Egg
1 cup Castor sugar
½ cup Butter
1/4 tsp Vanilla
2 tsp Baking powder
150 g Walnuts
For the syrup: 3 cups sugar + 3 cups water + Lemon juice from ½ lemon
Preparation
Beat the egg the powdered sugar and the butter together. Add the semolina the flour the baking powder and the vanilla. From the resulting dough we make balls. On each piece put a piece of walnut and bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. We syrup once cooled down.
